The Magnetic Holder was developed as a way to store the LC/EF close at hand on the mill and keep it from getting damaged from rolling off the table onto the floor. It can be applied to any magnetic surface.
The LC/EF fits into the holder, upside down, with the polarizer still attached. By having the LC/EF upside down in the holder and aimed just above the operator's head, the operator can observe if the battery powered LC/EF is left on. This would keep the batteries from running down too fast.
